Child Sponsorship Program

Every child has the right to study. But not everyone is having the opportunity to learn and to enroll themselves in schools. So, it is our goal to provide the opportunity to learn and enroll as many Children as possible from slums that never had the opportunity due to financial struggles and are working as child labor or drop out at an early education. At the same time there are many challenges in order to bring the kids back to school especially for students who have completed their higher secondary education (class xii). This is because most of the parents in slums believe that their children’s have completed their education (minimum education required) and are ready to work and pushed them to start looking for jobs in order to support the family. So in our back to school program PMI is providing all the financial needs of the students throughout their education under Child Sponsorship Program.

The sponsorship program is classified as follows:

Category1: Nursery to class xii

Apart from helping with their admission we provide them with all the necessary study materials starting from uniform, pencil, books (note book and text book), bags, school shoes and sometimes their financial need.

So ₹1000 per month is require in order to sponsor a child.

Category 2: Graduation and post Graduation program

We provide financially for their admission, exam fee, monthly allowances (for Tiffin, transportation and study materials needed to buy). It requires approximately ₹ 31,000 to ₹46,000 per year to sponsor one student. (Here the fees changes depending on the course selected for admission)

Admission: ₹7000 – ₹10,000 / year

Monthly allowances: ₹2000 – ₹3000 / month
