CHEP

CHEP stands for Child Health Education Program. Education is one of the most important keys to success and for the well being of the child. PMI has been working in slums within Delhi namely Barabagh, Lalbagh and Nandlal providing free education and health care to the children within the different communities.

Under the CHEP free education program, we have different categories of students based on their class. Pathsala is for students between nursery to class 5. Another group of students are those belonging to classes 6 to 12. Apart from providing scholarships the students are provided free amenities like book, pen, pencil, bags, shoes etc. from time to time. We also provide free tutoring for those students who lag behind in their studies with the help of our volunteers. PMI has helped many and is currently still helping students for their higher studies (college) after passing out class 12.

Knowing that good health is necessary for good education, we provide healthcare to our children and their family by conducting free medical camp and distributing vitamins and medicines. We give special care to the needs of our girls as well and also conduct monthly health check-ups for our CHEP regular students.
